What makes a good cutting table?

Cutting Table Height

The ideal height for your cutting table will depend on your height. The height is generally between 34 and 40 inches high. It is better for your back if you can work without bending over. If your table is not high enough, consider putting it up on blocks.

For safety and easy of use, consider elevating your table with PVC pipe. I had 1 1/4" PVC pipe cut 15" long. The legs of my light weight folding table fits in the PVC pipe prefectly. Also, easy back strain by elevating your ironing board with wood blocks.
